Welcome to John Ward Physical Therapy

John Ward PT, MHSA has been the owner and operator of John Ward Physical Therapy since April 2004. John graduated with a Bachelors in Physical Therapy from the University of Pittsburgh in 1985 and with a Masters of Health Services Administration from Salve Regina University in 2002.

He has over 33 years of experience as a RI Licensed Physical Therapist. He has a strong interest and experience in running injuries as a former competitive runner himself. John has completed 14 marathons (PR 3:08). In the winter months John enjoys skiing, and assisting fellow skiers in injury prevention and ski specific exercise training. Currently John enjoys distance bike riding, mountain                                biking, boating and paddle boarding.


Regina Peloso is the office manager for the clinic and has extensive experience in the healthcare field both as a RI Licensed CNA and a National Licensed Medical Administrator. Regina has worked for over 20 years in the medical and insurance industries. She is extremely helpful when dealing with the complexities of health insurance coverage. In October 2008, Regina's article Introduction to ICD-9: Medical Billing was published in the National Center for Competency Testing and in October 2010 she wrote an article on Medical Billing Modifiers that was also published and will be used for a 3 credit course.

Ku Hunley is a Licensed PTA and AFAA certified Personal Trainer, is the newest addition to John                                Ward PT. She graduated from CCRI in May 2013 with a degree in Applied Sciences for Physical                                  Therapy Assistant.  She was a personal trainer at SC YMCA, a former Special Olympics coach in                       

       the female bench press and powerlifting events, and the RI Silver Sneakers instructor coordinator                                to evaluate a fitness program for older adults offered in all Greater Providence YMCAs.  She is                                    married with two children and resides in Wakefield.  She spends her spare time taking her children                              to after school activities which include soccer and softball and finds time to workout regularly at a                                  gym or in her home.

Ray Brodeur is a RI Licensed PT who graduated from URI in 1999 with a masters degree in Physical Therapy. Since that time he has worked in outpatient, subacute and homecare settings. Ray has been employed at JWPT part time since 2014 and continues to work at an inpatient rehab facility. Ray is married with 2 active boys that keep him busy with sports and music lessons. He enjoys family activities such as hiking, biking and cross country skiing.
